Dendrobates Leucomela prefer humid or wet habitats and can be found on forest soil in wet stones, wet tree trunks, and roots of trees. Leucomela are found in the Neotropical region, in Northern South America. This range includes Venezuela, Northern Brazil, Guyana, and Southeastern Colombia. Frogs tend to be about 1.5 inches. Shy frogs with a great canary like call.
